How should I choose between balance plans and subscription plans?

Balance plans are one-time purchases added to your account balance and stay long-lived, which fits occasional usage or backup quota. Subscription plans provide quota for a 30-day period and move your API keys to the subscription group, which fits steady high-frequency usage.

How is usage deducted when balance and subscription are both available?

An active subscription is used first. If subscription quota is not enough, the extra cost is deducted from account balance. Without an active subscription, usage is deducted from balance directly. The current billing configuration deducts at 1:1 against the corresponding model price; the console usage record is the final reference.

Does the recharged balance expire?

The pricing page sells account balance that stays long-lived and does not reset by subscription cycle.

Are there daily or weekly caps?

The balance plan itself has no daily or weekly quota cap and is deducted by actual model usage. API rate, model availability, and account risk controls may still apply.

Which models can I use?

You can use the balance with models currently supported by the service. Model availability, including gpt-img-2, can change with upstream status; check the console for the current result.

How is usage deducted?

The current billing configuration deducts usage at 1:1 against the corresponding model price. Model choice, context size, and request mode affect actual spend; the console usage record is the final reference.
